Details have been announced for the Des Moines Symphony’s planned pops concert series at the new Lauridsen Amphitheater at Water Works Park. The first concert, July 14, will feature Renee Elise Goldsberry of “Hamilton” fame, and fireworks will follow. A selection of John Williams compositions from “Star Wars,” “Jaws” and other works will be July 28. General admission will be free. There are other ticket options.
