Taxpayers group seeking nominations for ‘public interest’ award
The Taxpayers Association of Central Iowa is seeking nominations for its “In the Public Interest” Award to recognize and encourage citizens, public officials and governments in creating the most efficient public services. Nominations are due by Jan. 10. The award will be presented at the group’s annual meeting on Feb. 19. Local governments and individuals are encouraged to nominate themselves or other candidates or projects for recognition here.
