TEDxDesMoines to host “CITY 2.0 event”
TEDxDesMoines will host an Oct. 13 event called “CITY 2.0,” which will explore recent trends in urban development.
The event will be at the Des Moines Public Library, 1000 Grand Ave., and at The Temple for Performing Arts, 1011 Locust.
Speakers include Jeffrey Morgan, director of real estate development for Historic Boston Inc.; Mike Nelson, owner and president of Nelson Construction Services and Nelson Development; Matthew Smith, a local entrepreneur; and Bill Stowe, CEO of Des Moines Water Works, among others.
