The Garden announces plans to open restaurant, show lounge at East Village site

Des Moines’ oldest LGBTQ-friendly dance club left its longtime home at the end of 2020 with plans to relocate to 525 E. Grand Ave. in the space most recently occupied by Club 525. Despite some intervening complications, a new posting on the Garden’s Facebook page Monday said it will open there in the spring.
