The Iowa Clinic names Hodne as chief quality officer

Hodne, a family physician in Ankeny, was the assistant quality director with the Iowa Clinic for the past five years before beginning her new role on Feb. 15. As chief quality officer, she is responsible for leading the clinic’s effort to be a regional leader in the delivery of value-based care. In addition to maintaining her clinical practice in Ankeny, she has accountability for driving patient quality care outcomes and overseeing the Population Health team, which focuses on the health of entire populations. This department serves to improve clinical treatment of their patients by promoting better patient outcomes and lower costs for delivering services. The independent, physician-owned multi-specialty group has more than 250 physicians and health care providers practicing in more than 40 specialties.
