Developers have rented 94 of the 103 apartments in The Lyon, the revamped version of the former Heather Manor facility in the East Village, and the planned Sam and Gabe’s restaurant should be open within six weeks, developers told the Urban Design Review Board on Tuesday. The building that provided skilled nursing services will be converted into 23 apartment units that should be done by mid-spring. That section could house a second restaurant. Slingshot Architecture designed the project.
