Des Moines Register: EMC Insurance and Meredith Corp. joined Wells Fargo & Co. in pushing back their return-to-office plans. An EMC spokesperson said the company is eying a “larger-scale return-to-office in November.” The company had said in the spring that it did not expect to bring most people back until “at least September.” Meredith said most employees won’t return until Oct. 18. Executives previously told workers to expect to come back the week after Labor Day. As previously reported, Wells Fargo, the metro area’s largest private employer, will not require employees to go back to their offices until at least Oct. 4. It previously planned to bring operations and contact center employees back to offices Sept. 7, with other divisions returning weeks later.
