Ames-based construction company Todd & Sargent Inc. has announced the expansion of its Canadian operation with the opening of an office in Winnipeg, Manitoba. According to a news release, the new office will serve as Todd & Sargent’s Canadian headquarters. The company also announced that Rori Bouchard will serve as president of Todd & Sargent Canada, replacing Jon Sargent, who will stay on as the company’s CEO. Bourchard will join Operations Manager Lesley Whitten to head the Winnipeg-based leadership team. Todd & Sargent was founded in 1933 and serves the agriculture industry. It began serving Canadian customers in 1968 and formally established Todd & Sargent Canada in 1985. The company has designed and built grain handling facilities across western Canada. In the release, company officials said the expansion will allow it to serve clients in a wider array of industries.
