The Iowa State Fair and Principal Financial Group Inc. were among 12 award recipients recognized with excellence awards Thursday during the Iowa Tourism Conference. The Iowa State Fair received the Outstanding Tourism Event/Festival and Outstanding Interactive Marketing Initiative awards; Principal received the Corporate Friend of Tourism award. The annual conference brings together more than 250 industry representatives from across the state to network, attend educational sessions and discuss emerging industry trends.
