Trombino is named Reynolds’ COO
McClure Co. President Paul Trombino, who once led the Iowa Department of Transportation, will join the staff of Gov. Kim Reynolds as chief operations officer Jan. 7. Trombino has degrees in civil engineering and economics. In other staff changes, Reynolds named:
— Pat Garrett as communications director. He held a similar position in Reynolds’ campaign.
— Nate Ristow as policy adviser on public safety issues. Ristow is a former aide to Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.
— Nick Boeyink as director of boards and commissions.
