Two Iowa cities on list of improving housing markets
Davenport has joined Waterloo on a list of improving housing markets maintained by the National Association of Home Builders. The list increased to 30 this month from 23. The National Association of Home Builders/First American Improving Markets index is based on employment, building permits and gains in house prices. Iowa City and Wichita Falls, Texas, dropped from the November index.
