The Iowa Association for Energy Efficiency has awarded scholarships to two Iowa State University students who plan to pursue degrees related to energy efficiency. Logan Peters of Portsmouth, Iowa, and Michael Seymour of Urbandale will each receive a $1,000 scholarship from the association. The scholarship program was created last year “to acknowledge that we need to be helping the next generation move into the professional role of energy efficiency in the state,” said Joel Logan, chair of the IAEE. The recipients will be recognized at the 31st annual Iowa Energy Summit to be held Nov. 7-8 at the Meadows Events and Conference Center in Altoona.
