Casey’s Inc., an Ankeny-based convenience store chain, is opening two new stores in Des Moines this month: A non-fuel store will open at 3121 Forest Ave. on Friday and a store at 3401 Ingersoll Ave. will open on April 29. The Forest Avenue store is Casey’s first non-fuel store in the Des Moines area. The 3,380-square-foot store will be open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week. The 4,163-square-foot store on Ingersoll will be open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and includes six fuel pumps. In celebration of the openings, Casey’s contributed $10,000 to Roosevelt High School and a $50,000 Case for Classrooms grant to East High School.
