U.S. corn sales rise as drought harms other areas

Reuters reports that importers are buying U.S. corn as a faster clip than at any time since the mid-1990s. That’s due in part to the lower stocks in Latin America that resulted from a worsening drought. That upswing helps a U.S. farm economy that has been hurt by record surpluses and low prices.
