Des Moines metro residents suddenly have more than 40 new delivery options from area restaurants. Uber Eats launches today, serving residents in downtown and surrounding neighborhoods, including Urbandale, Windsor Heights and Drake University, reports WHO-TV. Diners request deliveries through a free app, and pay $5.99 for delivery plus the cost of food. Customers can also add a tip for the driver.
