UN secretary-general to speak at World Food Prize ceremony
H.E. Ban Ki-moon, secretary-general of the United Nations, will address the World Food Prize Laureate Award Ceremony on Oct. 18, the World Food Prize announced today.
The event coincides with the UN World Food Day on Oct. 16.
More than 1,500 participants from more than 70 countries are expected to take part in World Food Prize events between Oct. 16 and 20.
