Iowa’s online unemployment insurance tax system will add a feature to enable online registration for new accounts, Iowa Workforce Development announced. The added feature will become available Jan. 1 on the online unemployment insurance portal, www.myiowaui.org Using online registration, businesses and accounting firms will immediately receive an account number, eliminating the processing time and paper forms. More than 32,000 businesses have already taken advantage of the online system to electronically file quarterly unemployment tax reports, make unemployment tax payments online and monitor their account.
