UNI presidential search committee to vote on semifinalists
University of Northern Iowa’s presidential search committee is expected to select semifinalists at its meeting Wednesday at UNI. The committee will pare down the list from more than 40 applications received for the position, with a final choice by the regents expected Dec. 6, the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reported Friday. The search committee was formed shortly after former UNI President Bill Ruud announced in May he would be leaving the university for a small liberal arts college in Ohio. A live audio stream of the 3 p.m. meeting can be accessed on the regents website.
