United Way of Central Iowa receives top honor
Charity Navigator, the nation’s largest independent nonprofit evaluator, awarded United Way of Central Iowa its four-star rating – the highest rating given – for the seventh consecutive year.
Charities are rated on financial health, accountability and transparency. Only 2 percent of the 5,500 charities evaluated nationwide earned a four-star rating.
