The United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties has a new CEO, the nonprofit announced last week. The Corridor Business Journal reported that Katie Knight has joined the local United Way office from Florida, where she acted as president of the Sarasota Area United Way. Knight also has held leadership positions at United Ways in Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota, with 28 years of career experience.
