Bill Leaver, president and CEO of UnityPoint Health, has received a 2015 Healthcare Leadership Award from Becker’s Hospital Review. Leaver was nominated because of his notable contributions to health care on local and national levels. The award recognizes him as a leader who demonstrates an unwavering commitment to better the hospital system and to help solve health care’s broader challenges. Leaver previously received this award in 2013. He will be recognized at Becker’s annual meeting, which begins Thursday in Chicago.
