Small and medium-sized businesses seeking to go global could win $25,000 in international services through the X-PORT Challenge by UPS. Ten businesses with the best application explaining why their company is prepared to go global will compete for the top prizes at a Pitch-Off event in Kansas City, Mo., in August. The first-place winner will receive $10,000 in free shipping from UPS, $10,000 in legal services from Dentons and $5,000 in research services from the World Trade Center – Kansas City The second-place winner will receive $8,000 from the sponsors in international services and the third-place finisher will be awarded $4,000 in international services.
