Urban Land Institute meeting will focus on elements that fostered growth of downtown Des Moines population

107 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentUrban Land Institute Iowa will discuss the plans, regulations, incentives, financing sources and developer decisions that have led to the population growth of downtown Des Moines. Speakers are Mike Ludwig and Mary Niederbach of the city of Des Moines and Jake Christensen of Christensen Development. The meeting will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Greater Des Moines Partnership, 700 Locust St., Suite 100. Cost is $25 for Urban Land Institute members and $35 for nonmembers; that price includes lunch.
