Nicole Lamb, the city’s finance director, said the money will be used for replacing the 156th Street bridge over Little Walnut Creek, a $1.2 million project; $1.9 million worth of paving on Douglas Parkway; widening 142nd Street; extending Northpark Drive; paving 156th Street north of Douglas; and paving 111th Street, which provides access to a 30-acre parcel north of Living History Farms that’s being developed by KC Real Estate LC.

Lamb said Urbandale will go to the bond market again this fall to complete the police station project.
