Urbandale is the 47th-best place to live in the country, according to Money Magazine’s “Best Places to Live” list released this week. Money Magazine collects and analyzes more than 200,000 data points for cities with populations of at least 25,000. Urbandale’s ranking is based on its continued growth; transportation infrastructure projects, like the Urban Loop; more than 30 new business developments announced in just three years; and a 50-mile trail network. “Urbandale’s place on Money’s list is an endorsement of the work of city leaders, businesses, and residents to build a premier community for all generations,” Mayor Bob Andeweg said in a news release.
