Urbandale, too, is doing a special census

103 wordsAll Latest News, Government Policy and LawThe city of Urbandale plans to start its special census on Aug. 1, but first it needs workers to gather the data. The city is recruiting census takers, office staff and supervisors for temporary employment that will pay between $10.55 and $16.35 an hour, plus mileage. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, live within 15 miles of Urbandale and be willing to work a minimum of 20 to 25 hours a week for six to 10 weeks, typically on weekends and during the evening.
