Jim Miller, executive director of the Historic Valley Junction Foundation in West Des Moines, has been named vice president for development and marketing at the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library in Cedar Rapids. Miller, who has been at the foundation since 2006, starts his new position on July 29. He is a native of Cedar Rapids, where he had owned Center Stage.
