Valley View Village announced it will complete its new $13 million health center this month on Des Moines’ east side. The 70,000-square-foot building at Valley View Village, 2571 Guthrie Ave., will offer private and semiprivate suites, with 20 memory-care beds, 20 skilled-care beds and 39 long-term care beds, for 79 beds total. Amenities will include restaurant-style dining, and on-site spa and beauty/barber shop. The center’s state-of-the-art gym features a cutting-edge Alter G Anti-Gravity Treadmill, which reduces gravity’s impact for physical therapy rehabilitation. “We are beyond excited to welcome residents to their new home,” said Brad Cole, executive director and administrator for Valley View Village. “The Greatest Generation deserves the many amenities our new building will offer.”
