Variety announces 23rd ‘Polo on the Green’ July 13
Variety – the Children’s Charity of Iowa will host the 23rd annual Polo on the Green on July 13 from 5 to 11 p.m. at Powder River Ranch, the organization announced this week. Variety’s polo event gives attendees the chance to see a championship polo match up close, wear fancy hats and eat inspired local cuisine. Polo on the Green has raised more than $1.4 million to provide funding for capital projects, essential medical equipment and programming to more than 300 children’s organizations in Iowa, Executive Director Sheri McMichael said.
