The University of Iowa’s John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center will be holding the Venture School Launch Day event in conjunction with EntreFEST from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Cedar Rapids, the Pappajohn center announced. Venture School Launch Day will highlight eight Venture School alumni from the 2018-19 cohort, who will pitch their business to a panel of judges for a chance to win more than $20,000. The event is open to EntreFEST ticket holders and will be held at the CSPS Theatre at 1103 Third St.
