Vision Iowa approves marketing grants
The Vision Iowa board approved 13 marketing grants totaling $119,550.25 yesterday. Grants included $15,000 to the Science Center of Iowa, $15,000 to Blank Park Zoo Foundation and $14,500 to the Des Moines Art Center. Funding can be used for print, broadcast or online advertising. Applicants were required to match at least 50 percent of their request locally.
