Vohs takes temporary spot at taxpayers group
The Iowa Taxpayers Association (ITA) has named Richard Vohs interim president effective Aug. 13. He will work under an independent contract, according to a news release. Vohs takes the place of Nicole Crain, who resigned to take a job as vice president of government relations at the Iowa Association of Business and Industry. ITA is a business-supported tax policy organization. Vohs retired last year as CEO of Iowa Network Services. Prior to that, he worked on Gov. Terry Branstad’s staff from 1985 to 1993.
