W.D.M. Community Foundation awards grants
The West Des Moines Community Foundation presented a combined $16,800 in grants to the following seven organizations through the first six months of the year:
– Ballet Des Moines – Nutcracker scrim.
– Iowa Youth Rugby – Youth scholarships.
– Opportunity On Deck – Athletic program at Hillside Elementary.
– Planet 7 – West Des Moines Parks and Recreation – Youth scholarships.
– Sleep in Heavenly Peace – Beds for youth.
– Tiger Lacrosse – Youth scholarships.
– West Des Moines Chamber – Leadership Academy scholarship.
