Craig Leu has been named fire chief in West Des Moines, replacing Donald Cox, who retired in January. Leu, who has 24 years of experience in fire service, is currently deputy fire marshal at  Sedgwick County Fire District  No. 1 in Park City, Kan. He will begin the $120,000-a-year job in West Des Moines on July 27. Read more
