Wallace named IWD deputy director
Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) Director Teresa Wahlert announced that Ed Wallace, currently president of the Iowa Taxpayers Association, will serve as IWD’s deputy director, beginning June 1. A native of Iowa City, Wallace has been president of the business tax policy group for more than four years. He previously served as an aide to former U.S. Attorney Matthew Whitaker in Des Moines and as an aide to U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley in the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance.
