The lawsuits are one of at least two such cases in Iowa, and several hundred across the country, in which students are pressuring their schools to partially refund tuition and fees. The students behind the Iowa lawsuits aren’t the first to seek redress from schools for actions taken during the pandemic. One count by Inside Higher Education tallied more than 300 such cases across the country.
