The city of Waukee recently became the newest partner to Bravo Greater Des Moines.

Waukee, the 13th partner, joins Altoona, Carlisle, Clive, Des Moines, Indianola, Johnston, Norwalk, Polk City, Polk County, Urbandale, West Des Moines and Windsor Heights in providing funding to Bravo, which in turn awards funds to arts, cultural and heritage organizations through its Cultural Enrichment Grants program.

Since 2005, Bravo Greater Des Moines has awarded more than $16 million to 80 arts, culture and heritage organizations in Greater Des Moines. In 2012, Bravo Greater Des Moines, partnering with 12 of the area’s local governments, supported 53 arts, culture and heritage organizations by funding $2.2 million.
