The city of Waukee’s general obligation credit rating will remain at Aa2, Moody’s Investors Service announced. The rating, which the city had been upgraded to in 2017, allows Waukee to receive more competitive interest rates for repayment of debt. Post-sale, Waukee will have $65 million of general obligation unlimited tax debt outstanding.
