The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce has announced the 2022-23 class for its WDM Leadership Academy program. The nine-month program uses experiential learning, critical thinking and a community impact project to help participants hone their skills in leading themselves, others and community. Three scholarships for the program are provided by the chamber’s West YP program, American Equity through the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Workplace Excellence Awards, and the West Des Moines Chamber through the Black and Brown Business Summit pitch competition.
