The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce has announced the promotion of Everett Mullican and Meredith Murphy. Mullican has been promoted to marketing and communications manager and Murphy now serves as director of future workforce. Mullican started with the WDM Chamber as marketing and communications coordinator in 2023. Murphy joined the WDM Chamber as talent attraction coordinator in 2022 and was promoted to talent attraction manager in 2023. “Everett and Meredith have each made a lasting impact during their time with the Chamber,” Katherine Harrington, president and CEO of the WDM Chamber, said in a prepared statement. “From day one, they’ve brought innovation, energy and a deep sense of purpose to everything they do. Their years of dedication have helped strengthen our business community, enhance workforce development and elevate the Chamber’s visibility and reach.”
