The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce has announced its seventh annual Mentoring for Women event, to be held on March 8 at Prairie Meadows Racetrack & Casino in Altoona. The full-day event aims to provide opportunities for women in Central Iowa to network and learn from industry leaders in focused coaching sessions. At least 100 mentors with a range of professional experience will lead six sessions throughout the event, which will also include meals, an afternoon cocktail reception and a fashion show from White House Black Market.
