Nominations will be accepted until March 8. The Citizen of the Year Luncheon, where the award recipients will be honored, will be held on May 11 at Valley Community Center, with a speech from West Des Moines Mayor Russ Trimble. The event registration fee is $30 for West Des Moines chamber members and $40 for nonmembers. To nominate someone for the award, visit the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce site.
