Wells Fargo commits $100K to Food Bank of Iowa renovation campaign
Wells Fargo will give a $100,000 donation to help the Food Bank of Iowa with a renovation of its Des Moines distribution center. The Food Bank has raised more than 70 percent of the money for the project, which includes construction of new, expanded freezer and refrigeration units, added storage, and safety improvements. The renovation will prepare the facility to distribute 2 million pounds a month; that figure is 1 million now.
