Des Moines Register: Wells Fargo & Co. will build one of the largest solar power projects in Iowa at its West Des Moines campus. The West Des Moines City Council on Feb. 1 approved the banking giant’s request to add a collection of solar panels across 8 acres at 800 S. Jordan Creek Parkway. The project will generate 2 megawatts of power, enough to supply 12% of the electricity used by the six buildings on campus.
