Recoop Disaster Insurance, a West Des Moines-based specialty insurance company launched earlier this year, announced the addition of two longtime insurance industry experts. Jeffrey Marshall has been named chief operating officer, and Kelly Anonson has been named executive chief of sales. Before joining Recoop, Marshall was most recently with Guy Carpenter, and his more than 20 years of insurance experience includes a variety of capacities including corporate accounting, catastrophe modeling, and most recently as a broker. Anonson, previously with Principal Financial Group, was most recently responsible for the national expansion of Principal’s life, disability and group benefit sales through strategic partnerships.
