RxEOB LLC, which specializes in member engagement applications for pharmacy benefits, has produced a white paper, “Personalized Messaging Delivers Better Care Quality and Lower Costs.” The white paper highlights the necessity for health care professionals to stay ahead of the curve by taking fundamental steps toward building personalized patient messaging campaigns, which can improve a patient’s health and deliver cost savings for both the patient and his or her health plan. As reported by the 2015 Milliman Medical Index, the cost of health care for a typical American family of four has risen more than 27 percent from 2011 to 2015, and along with potential pharmaceutical cost increases, the number is expected to continue to grow.
