Willis Automotive, a dealership with campuses in Clive and Waukee, is buying Granger-based Beneventi Chevrolet, Willis officials announced today. The addition of the Chevrolet line of vehicles will enable Willis Automotive to expand their offerings in Central Iowa, according to a news release. “It’s an honor to continue the 88-year tradition the Beneventi family has built in Granger,” Rich Willis, chairman of Willis Automotive, said in a prepared statement. “We look forward to maintaining a tradition of automotive excellence and service leadership built upon the principle of treating each customer like a guest in our own home.” Willis Automotive currently owns and operates Willis Automotive in Clive, Willis Pre-Owned in Waukee, and Big O Tires locations in Ankeny, Altoona, and Urbandale. Willis Automotive will continue the Chevrolet franchise operations in Granger. Willis will make name and brand updates in the coming months. A grand opening is planned in the spring.
