Willis Automotive has entered into an agreement to purchase Hummel’s Nissan, the automotive dealers announced this week. According to a news release, the addition of the Nissan lineup will enhance the Willis Automotive offerings in the region. The dealership will be renamed Willis Nissan, and add to the company’s portfolio, which includes Cadillac INFINITI, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, MINI, Chevrolet and Volvo. Hummel’s Nissan has served central Iowa as a family-owned and operated business for more than 90 years. Hummel’s 104 employees will be retained under the new ownership, the release stated.
