Des Moines Metro Opera’s annual Wine, Food & Beer Showcase fundraiser will be held Feb. 21 at the downtown Marriott from 6 to 9 p.m., the opera announced. The showcase features 48 vendors from around the state, including 28 restaurants and caterers, eight wineries, eight breweries and four distilleries. The event is one of the oldest tasting events in the metro area and is the Des Moines Metro Opera’s biggest annual fundraiser. Showcase options and tickets are available online.
