Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Iowa will host its inaugural Wine Women and Shoes event on Thursday, April 21, at Toast in Ankeny. A group of 27 individual male fundraisers were selected to serve as Sole Men for the fundraiser. They will  greet and socialize with guests, sell raffle tickets, promote the auction and serve as entertainment for the evening. They will also compete for the coveted “King of Sole” award, based on which one raises the most funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Iowa.

“This group of Sole Men are integral to the success of our inaugural Wine Women and Shoes event,” said Brenda Miller, executive director.  “They bring their passion and energy, not only to make the event an unforgettable experience, but to help fundraise needed dollars for the Ronald McDonald House in Central Iowa, helping further our mission of keeping families together.”
